How much does it cost to bail someone out?
By law, we are required to charge you 10% of the full amount of the bail. For example, if a bail amount is set at $5000.00, we are required to charge $500.00 as premium for the bond. Many agencies charge miscellaneous fees in addition to the 10% premium. Action Bail Bonds Inc. charges a flat 10% for the purchase of the bond.
What information do I need to have before I can get a bond?
- The person’s name and date of birth
- The jail he or she is in
- The charges being brought against him or her
- The bail amount
How long does it take to get a bond?
Bond approval can usually be received upon the initial call to our agency. Upon approval, a prompt appointment with a bail agent at our convenient downtown Port Orchard office, completes the necessary paperwork. The entire process can be completed 24 hours a day.
